Stuffed Things, Cont'd.

Meet the little brother monkey. He's much smaller (made from smaller socks) and about twenty different kinds of sturdy as hell. Babies need sturdy toys.

This is the hedgehog that took aaaages, mostly for his spines. He's made of fleece, super fuzzy, and I am absolutely making myself one ASAP. Handheld fuzzy cuteness. Must have.

And this little owl has a bit of thin plastic hidden in his belly to make him crinkly. Fun noises for baby. Also made of fleece for the ultimate in fuzzy cute. The fabric had a ducky pattern on it, so I used to duck heads to make the eyes. I think it worked quite well. :'D

I also made a sock elephant for the little guy, but it looked a bit too much like a weirded out version of Gonzo, so it's going to stay off the internet for now. It needs bigger ears, I think. I'm going to make it some eventually, but I wanted to have it finished for the baby shower yesterday, and had just spent 12+ hours over two days sewing so many things. I was done.

Overall, I'm pretty proud of them. :D
