Visual Stimulation

Among the many things I do online is playing games. I love flash games, most especially those of the "Room Escape," side-scrolling, hidden object, and puzzle varieties. Some of them are so entrancing, entertaining, or just downright stunning in their presentation that I play them over and over again just to see them once more. Without further ado, I'd like to share some of my favorites.

Fog Fall is along the Room Escape strain. Visually, it's pretty interesting. Goes by really quick, though!

Quest in the Dark gets you to wander around a house looking for items and chatting up the undead. Your score grows the more items you get--it's kind of addictive trying to find everything!

I absolutely LOVE the look and feel of Nevermore. You won't regret exploring it. If you get stuck, you can easily find help. Just Google for it.

Of course, everything at Eyezmaze is amazing. Play around with them, you'll have fun.

Anika's Odyssey is absolutely stunning. I really don't know what else to say about it, except that I can't recommend it enough.

Miskatonic Memories has it's basis in the Cthulhu mythos, which I am a big fan of. It's a pretty well suited game for it.

So far as good places to look for new games on a daily or near daily basis, I'm a big fan of Escape Games 24 and Kongregate. My username at Kongregate is x_redbird. Keep an eye out for me there. One of the things I love about the site is that there are achievements to get badges for, and cards to collect from challenges for the site's official online card game (which is really fun). It's also the home of Necronomicon, a Cthulhu mythos card game that I play almost constantly. Love it.

Hope the couple people who read this thing find something worth playing around with. There's certainly some good stuff around.
